Call for Papers Announced for the International Conference “The Prophet of Mercy: Inspiration for Civilization, Ethics and Global Dialogue”
The Institute of Short-Term Studies and Sabbatical Opportunities of Al-Mustafa International University, in cooperation with the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) World Assembly, is pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the International Conference “The Prophet of Mercy: Inspiration for Civilization, Ethics and Global Dialogue.”
The conference will be held on the occasion of the 1,500th anniversary of the auspicious birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It aims to explore the teachings, character, and legacy of the Prophet of Mercy and their relevance to civilization, ethics, education, culture, and global dialogue.
The conference secretariat invites scholars, researchers, and academics to submit their research papers on the following six main themes:
- The Qur’an and Hadith: The Prophet of Mercy in Islamic Texts
- History and Civilization: The Prophet and the Formation of Global Society
- Ethics and Education: The Prophet as a Universal Role Model
- Culture and Arts: The Prophet and the Cultural Heritage of Nations
- Prophetic Teachings and Contemporary Global Challenges
- Futures Studies and Global Dialogue
Paper Submission Guidelines
- Papers outside the main themes of the conference may also be considered, provided that they are consistent with the conference objectives and approved by the Scientific Committee.
- Researchers wishing to participate and submit papers must register and upload their manuscripts through the conference submission system: prophetofmercy.hamayesh.miu.ac.ir
- Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word, using IRLotus font, size 14, with a length of 15–25 pages (approximately 300 words per page), and accompanied by a PDF version.
- Papers that do not comply with the formatting guidelines or are not submitted through the online system will not be considered for review.
- Submitted papers must be original and must not have been previously presented or published in any conference or journal.
Publication and Presentation
- Selected papers will be presented at the conference in the presence of their authors and distinguished researchers, and outstanding contributors will be honored.
- Accepted papers will be indexed and published in the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC).
- Papers are accepted in the following languages: Persian, Arabic, Urdu, Azerbaijani Turkish, Istanbul Turkish, English, Russian, French, German, Bengali, and Spanish.
